Spring is in the air…

This season Miss Wong is a powdery pink blossom tree and we just keep growing.

Spring/Summer 2010/2011 stock is arriving daily including a couple of new labels that we can’t wait to share with you.

Sophie Pink is from New Zealand designer, Alice Gordon who has previously designed for Chapel and Sissy.

Sophie Pink drops 2 ranges per year with Alice taking overseas styling trips 2 or 3 times a year for inspiration… what a job.

The current range is very colourful and fun and very reasonably priced.

Featured above is the Sophie Pink Satin Dress $149.90.

Another new label to Miss Wong is Wonderland from Rebecca Maguire.

Also a New Zealand designer, Rebecca has recently finished up 7 years with Ricochet.

Wonderland offers directional pieces, knitwear and essentials allowing the wearer to create their own sense of attitude and style.

The collections are created to be cherished by the wearer and envied by others.

Featured above is the 100% silk Wonderland Rose Womens Top $179.90.

And last but not least we have to mention the new Stitch Ministry High Tea Party range in-store at Miss Wong.

The Spring/Summer colour palette is a yummy blueberry, peach and vanilla, dusty pink and silver grey.

Soft linen textured knits and pretty lace pieces are finished with a tea dye affect to create a classic vintage look.

Featured above is the Stitch Ministry Icing Skirt $189.90 and the Stitch Ministry Lady Grey Dress $215.00

For now, Miss Wong says … see you next time.

Miss Wong Hearts Mimosa

Just a little sneak peek… summer clothing has been injected into Miss Wong Clothier.

Vibrant prints, powdery pastels and bold stripes are a taste of what’s to come for your 2010/2011 summer wardrobe.
We have received just enough items to tease you let me tell you more…
Australian based clothing label – Mimosa is a label we love in-store at Miss Wong.
Designed out of the sunny Byron Bay, the team at Mimosa really know how to work with summer styles and colours.
Featured above is the gorgeous Aurora Zipper Dress $245. A great easy to wear shape with exposed zips on the front pockets for extra detail.
Using fabrics specifically sourced for Mimosa this dress uses digital printing technology to create the beautifully detailed print fabric.
An amazing fabric that has the look and feel of silk yet it is a simple wash and wear, seldom of requiring ironing. Too easy!
Also featured above and returning for another season, is the ever so popular Colette Shoulder Shirt $225.
In silk chiffon with a stunning indigo, leopard like print this shirt takes great exception to detail with a full length, puff sleeve and back button detail.
We are predicting a summer season of fresh, bright colour and drape, loose fit fabrics.
Each day new bits and pieces are arriving in-store. Currently we have 50 percent off all winter stock.
For now, Miss Wong says … see you next time.
